The 28 best donut places in Manila (2024)

Wildflour Restaurant - Salcedo is a popular spot among locals in Manila, offering a diverse menu with international dishes and specialty baked goods. Whether you're looking for a hearty brunch featuring homemade pancakes and sandwiches or a satisfying dinner with high-quality steaks and homemade pastas, this place has got you covered. The restaurant caters to a wide age range of customers and provides an extensive selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Wildflour's salted chocolate cake is to die for! It's so sinful! It is definitely one of the best chocolate cakes in Manila. The tall slice of rich and moist dark chocolate cake with hints of sweet caramel sauce and a bit of saltiness is always a wonderful treat. Just thinking about it makes me salivate! It's so yummy! The other items on their menu are also good, but this chocolate cake is the one that I will really rave about. :DThe restaurant's interior is modern yet cozy. It's a great place for meeting friends for dinner or drinks after work.

Not as good as I remember…. I ask for butter to go with bread. The butter is unsalted and had a different taste. The egg and potatoes is not seasoned well. The bacon steak is just oke…However, the brewed coffee is good 😊The service is good…Price is on the high side…

The resto has a warm rustic feel to it. The breads and pastries were fresh. The food was good and heavy! One of my fave restos so far!

My usual go to place for their delectable foodies depending on my taste buds if I choose a light meal soup salad or something heavier. Love their 7pm @50percent off on selected pastries!

Great service and food.Staff are very accomodating and kind for reasonable requests (e.g cutlery, clean up plates, reheat the order) plus they give an update every now and then how long the food is gonna be ready.Price wise, it is not cheap but reasonable for the branch location. Food is great and portion is large enough for a bit of sharing. Dough on pizza could use a bit of improvement as it gets really tough once the food cools down.Although the parking would be a bit of a problem and the space is kinda small if you plan to bring in lots of people.

Bustling cafe with a drool worthy array of baked goods at the counter. Settled in for a weekend brunch starting off with a fluffy parker house roll sprinkled with flaky salt chips. The adobo rice bowl was good but lacked the acidity I was expecting from the vinegar. The rice below was chock full of meat pieces as well. Caramelized pork belly chunks were tender and tasty. Can't remember the name of the drink but it was sunshine something, very thick rich and delicious. Practically a dessert on it's own. Although a busy cafe, there were ample staff around so service is still good.

Servers were very attentive to our needs and their bar side is cozy and perfect for chill drinking. For reference, we ordered red sangria, white sangria, mimosa, and espresso martini. All drinks were good!

I went to Wildflour since a friend recommended it, and I ended up going twice for breakfast. Many different breakfast choices, many options to choose from. They make their own bread, so it’s fresh. A must visit if you are in the area. It’s a popular place, so weekends will be packed. Probably better to go early in the morning

It's our first time to dine at this branch of Wild Flour and not surprisingly the food did not disappoint. As a chef myself I can honestly say the food was cooked to perfection. Over all a very pleasant experience. But what made it more special was our server, Ms. Pauline who was ever so courteous and polite. She was so attentive and very warm. Thank you Ms. Pauline, we hope to dine again soon and see you again. ❤️

The green juice cost you around 300-400p but tasted nothing. Clubhouse Sandwich (600p) is good but compared the price and the service you had, not really worthy. The waitress is like having a bad day, not efficient and you don’t feel you are welcomed there. Plus I asked 3 times to have my bill…. I am surprised to see the positive reviews from the others.

Security let me sit next to the entrance as I'm alone, no server attend to me.I request to change to sit inside as it was hot near the entrance and door was being open & close time to time, security said I'm alone, table inside for 3persons or more, but it wasn't busy at all 🤷🏽‍♀️ anyhow, I changed myself.Had campanelle cacio e pepe & cold brew coffee. Requested to change the pasta to bucatini was refused which I don't understand why as it's being prepare instantly instead of ready meal.Taste was standard, would be better if more cheese and pepper in it.

Second time dining at this branch. The ambience is top notch for sure. We had adobo rice, green salad, and mushroom rice. The food was fresh and tasted alright, nothing fancy or remarkable about them. The serving somehow compensates for the price.

The food, atmosphere and service is always amazing at Wildflour Salcedo. I eat breakfast here often and I am always impressed with the quality. Big shoutout to the amazing staff, especially our server for today, Ms. Pauline. I can’t say enough great things about this place. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!

Wildflour Café has been so good in every location. Love the pastry selection and their breakfast options- especially the beef tapa! Pauline our waitress has been excellent.

Dined here recently for dinner, overall a good experience, waiters were friendly and recommended food for us. Accomodating staff especially our waitress Pauline.Cote De Beouf (₱7995) or the 1000 gram Rib Eye Steak, the star of the night on our table, we told it to be cooked at medium rare and it came out perfect, delicious, and tender. It was balanced and seasoned well with salt.I'd say for the price, especially as it comes with a hefty anount of fries, a fresh garden salad, and roasted vegetables, it is definitely priced much better compared to other restaurants for the sides it comes with.Squid Ink Pasta (₱750), balanced with a tangy taste from the lemon, has a hint of spice, but overall pleasing to eat.Prawn Salad (₱590) delicious and reminded me of a Thai salad because of the shrimp and pomelo, definitely a must try here, servings are enough to share for 2 if you're not a hungry diner.Hawaiian Pizza (₱659) serves 8 slices, plentiful of ham and of course pineapple, nothing to say here as hawaiian pizza is haiwaiian pizza.California Burger (₱650), but small for a burger since you can get bigger biggers for around the same price point, the beef was juicy and had lots of vegetables which I enjoyed.Clam Chowder (₱495), this was the one that disappointed us, too salty, the bread wasn't as good, and perhaps a little overpriced for soup.Mac N' Cheese (₱470) loved the white sauce and mozzarella cheese here, their Mac N' Cheese tasted like a perfect comfort food, simply delicious.Bibingka Cheesecake (₱350), one of the best cheesecakes I've tasted, quite a big slice and not too sweet. Love how it is a cheesecake with Filipino roots.Pastries, drinks, and coffee (₱1500+) Nothing much to say for their pastries as it is what Wildflour is well known for, pastries we took home for their 50% off at 7PM were perfect and scrumptious!Coffee was nice aswell, nothing too amazing but it was great paired with their Bibinga Cheesecake.Overall the Bill was approximately ₱14000 Inclusive of service Charge. This branch of Wildflour is a 4/5.Could do with brightening upthe place as for dinner it is quite dark for the place we sat at.

Wildflour is a neighborhood restaurant near my office. It's definitely an expensive place that I go to maybe just once a year, if at all.The Lasagna Bolognese is quite good with plenty of cheese and is one of the best I've tried. The Bacon Tarte Flambee was nothing special and I wouldn't really recommend it. It doesn't skimp on ingredients but since I'm not that big on bacon (moreso thick cut bacon) it didn't really do much for me. It is possible that the lasagna just outshone the tarte. Both dishes are quite filling on their own so perhaps you can try them independently.Service is brisk and attentive but the staff lacked familiarity with some of the dishes that probably aren't ordered often and had to ask the kitchen first.

Thank you for wonderful service and food. Special mentioned to Ms. Pauline. She is very accommodating and patience to us.. . We love the service and the surprised dessert they give to us.. love it!! Best service !❤️❤️❤️Service was attentive with frequent water top offs. Sat indoors with patio seating outdoors also available at the time of our visit. Well worth your visit if you're up for a good meal experience.

Good Food, Slow ServiceHad breakfast at Wilflour Salcedo. The food was excellent, and the place has a nice vibe. But, the service needs improvement. It took too long to get the bill, and it was hard to get the staff's attention, even when it wasn't busy. The manager should manage the team on being more attentive.Date and Time: Feb. 11, 2024 10:00 am to 11:20 am

Truly a delight to find this place. I’ve had breakfast and will likely come back to try the other menus. My server was Maan and she was very informative regarding the full experience Wildflour provide. And for dinner tonight it was fantastic. I had the roast, the French onion soup and French fries as recommended by Pauline. Delicious!

The experience was excellent! (Lunch time,Today). Service, food and beverages made me and my partner happy. Especially to those who take good care of us. The one who was assigned outside that helped to fix our table, to the lady that took our order and serve our food and to miss Mary May(if I'm not mistaken; she checked us back about our food and drinks with a smile on her face. We will surely come back. Thank you!

Had breakfast in the morning and came back for pastries in the afternoon. Really enjoyed the shakshouka, french toast, and ube brioche. Ambience was great and servers were attentive. The only downside was that the matcha latte was quite tasteless.

An excellent meal for the three of us for our lunch visit. Fresh and super tasty fruit with soda drinks. My skillet lasagna was beautifully prepared and delicious. The black pasta another in our group ordered was also first-rate. A flavorful salad with melon, cheese and candied walnuts. A meat infused pastry that looked like a stuffed pizza was also sampled by me and it had a great taste. Service was attentive with frequent water top offs. Sat indoors with patio seating outdoors also available at the time of our visit. Well worth your visit if you're up for a good meal experience.

Love this place! They serve great food and the pastry is out of this world! They have several vegetarian dishes on the menu. Would definitely come back! Enjoy!
